Meet Dr. Piltch-Loeb
PUBLIC HEALTH EXPERT, PROFESSOR, & CONSULTANT
I am a professor of public health emergency preparedness and response and risk communication. I also consult for private companies and professional organizations. My primary appointment is at the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health where I am an Assistant Professor. I also hold an appointment as a fellow at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health where I previously was a Project Director. My expertise has been cited in international publications including BBC, the Atlantic, and Bloomberg News on COVID-19. Prior to my work on COVID-19, I have focused on the development of best practices in public health preparedness, response, and risk communication. I received my PhD in public health from NYU, a MSPH from the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University, and BS from Georgetown University.
